A couple of weeks ago, I handed in this as an end of the term picture in my Photography class.
Yesterday, the teacher told me he was very happy with me, and gave me an A+. So right now I'm just so, so happy! It means that my average grade is somewhere around 5(out of 6).


I've always been fascinated by polaroid photography, and a couple of days ago I received a phone call from my dad, telling me that he had found an old polaroid camera! I was just thrilled! But still has to find out where to buy film..and get money for it.

Today I'm going to a concert in Oslo with some friends. Haven't really heard that much from the band...but I like concerts, so why not?

Other news; my mother left for China this morning, and will not be returning for at least 3 weeks. Maybe I'll send her a message, asking if she would be so kind to look for some polaroid film for me in China. It has to be cheaper than in Norway..

Autumn cleaning

I'm having an autmn cleaning(boy that sounds stupid...but you know...instead of spring cleaning :P)!
I've deleted a lot of my deviations...because I think they've outdated.
It's weird how one develop, really.

I'm also cleaning and tidying my room, because it is a mess, and then I become a mess... o_O
I find it quite relaxing...especially when I'm done :)

My bus leaves at 04.30. That is e a r l y O_O
Now it's 00.07, and I'm not fully packed. And I should really get som sleep. But of course my best friend comes online just when I'm about to log off, and I haven't talked to him in a long time... So that's just typical.

Photography Course

Last night ~dystophia and I attended a photography class at St.Croix(a local art/dance/theatre/music ++ house). It's a course that'll last for six weeks, one class a week.
I think it'll will be very fun, and I'll probably learn a great deal. At least I hope so. If not, there's no point in paying 600 kr o_O
Our teacher seems very talented, and good at teaching.

Our first task is choosing our favourite photographer from the ones she picked out(Goldin, Arbus, Lartigue + I don't remember all of their names...).
I chose a picture by Jacque-Henri Lartigue, not knowing it was his picture at the time. I'm trying to find the same picture online, but has not been successfull as of yet.
We are supposed to be inspired by the photographers work when we take our own pictures, and next week we're bringing the pictures to class and the students/the teacher will discuss which they think are good - and bad.

The only problem is that I will be leaving for Paris this Saturday, and will not return until next Saturday, therefore I will not be able to attend the next class... :( But I get the chance to take lot of photos in Paris! Maybe some of them will turn out allright, and I can use them for my task.

Black-Haired MÆD

I hate colouring my hair. It always turn out wrong.
I now have black hair. I never ever wanted black hair. It just looks wrong...way wrong. I was supposed to dye it brown, my natural colour, but oh no.
BLACK.

I have...so MUCH black hair now, it's terrifying. On the bright side it's not permanent, it's only 24 washes or something. But I have the feeling it will take many more to remove this colour...

On the other hand I've been begifted with a new camera! Canon EOS 350D :heart:

And I'm going to Bergen on Wednesday, will take loads of pictures :)
Maybe you'll even get a glimps of the black-haired me. You never know.
